Creative Career Level Up

I invested over $50k in my career. And I never regretted it.

The Best Investment You’ll Ever Make

If you’ve ever felt stuck in your career — wondering why others seem to be moving faster, landing better roles, or always “one step ahead”— you’re not alone.

I used to feel exactly the same. And for years, I thought I just had to work harder and hope things would eventually click.

What I didn’t realise back then was this: the best investment you’ll ever make is in yourself.

My Story of Saying “Yes” to Myself

The first time I invested in myself, I spent £18,000. I thought it was insane money. The second time, $7,000. And recently, another $20,000.

All up? Over $50k USD. And I can honestly say — it’s the best money I’ve ever spent.

Because every single time, the growth I experienced, the doors that opened, and the clarity I gained paid me back many times over. Not just financially (though yes, the ROI was huge), but in confidence, opportunities, and the ability to play at a completely different level in my career.

What I Wish I Knew in My 20s

Looking back, I only wish I’d started sooner.

In my 20s, I played small. I felt like other people were always one step ahead — like they knew some secret I didn’t.

And they did.

They knew that success doesn’t come from waiting or trying to figure it all out alone. It comes from constantly learning, constantly upskilling, and getting help from people who’ve already walked the path you want to be on.

The moment I realised that everything changed.

Why Learning From the Right People Matters

Here’s the real key: it’s not just about learning, it’s about who you learn from.

I paid £18,000 to learn property investing from someone who had already done it — and five years later, I’d built a successful property business that allowed me to retire from corporate life.

When I launched my coaching business, I invested $7,000 to learn directly from a hugely successful coach who had done the exact same thing. That guidance meant I wasn’t guessing — I was building on a proven foundation.

And just recently, I invested another $20,000 in a coach to help me take my business to the next level. Because I know that learning from someone who’s already achieved what I want is the fastest, smartest way to get results.

I’m always learning. Always finding better ways to do things. And that’s why I keep moving forward.

Why Investing in Yourself Changes Everything

Here’s the truth: “investing in yourself” doesn’t always have to mean money. Sometimes it’s time, sometimes it’s energy, sometimes it’s the courage to try something new.

But the act of backing yourself — choosing to grow, to learn, to keep moving forward — that’s what separates people who stay stuck from people who break through.

Whether it’s reading, networking, taking a free workshop, or joining a structured program, every step you take compounds. Every time you choose growth, you’re giving yourself a better chance.

Ready to Back Yourself?

I built my Creative Career Level Up program for this exact reason. It’s the program I wish I’d had years ago. A clear, proven system to help you stand out, land roles you actually want, and finally feel like you’re in control of your career.

If you’re ready to give yourself the best possible chance of success, now is the time. Don’t wait another 5 years wishing you’d started earlier (like I did)

I help people in the Marketing and Creative and Tech Industries to find their next perfect role.
